Fitzroy Is Best Understood at Walking Pace
Fitzroy has been many things — Melbourne's first suburb, a working-class heartland, the birthplace of a civil rights movement, and now one of the most creative pockets of the city. You can't see any of that from a coach window.
We run small guided walks that go off the main strip and into the streets where the stories actually happened. Our guides live here. They'll tell you which mural went up last month, which pub is the oldest, and where to eat afterwards — then hand you a map so you can keep exploring on your own.

- From the city: tram 11 from Collins Street, alight at Stop 15.
- From West Preston: tram 11, alight at Stop 15 (Saint David Street) and cross the road.
